The journal will have a unique name and design, it will have publication licenses (including Creative Commons), national and international indexing, and ISSN. The journal will have its own secure website.
Scientific manuscripts on medical and health sciences research, of national and international origin and interest, in English, including studies with negative results, that adhere to the international recommendations of good practices will be evaluated.

The submitted manuscripts will be evaluated according to their methodological quality, originality, timeliness, relevance, scientific contribution, relevance to the objectives of Clinical Innovations in Health Research-HJM, and adherence to ethical principles. The authorship must follow the principles of COPE (https://publicationethics.org/files/COPE_DD_A4_Authorship_SEPT19_SCREEN_AW.pdf).
Inclusive language will be promoted. The authors must express their conflicts of interest and they will be responsible for the content of the article.
The publication will be carried out in English, electronically, with open access, at no cost to authors or readers, and will it be financed by Hospital Juárez de México. Any external financing will be made through Hospital Juárez de México and will be independent of the editorial process and decision. The editors will evaluate the relevance of the inclusion of advertisers in the publication.
The evaluation process will be carried out in an agile, systematic way, with quality, transparency, consistency, opportunity, and it will include review by academic peers, blinded for both the author and the reviewer (double blind). Reviewers will receive a written acknowledgment for their voluntary participation.
The publishing house will provide an electronic platform for editorial management, and a repository of published articles. The editors and the publishing house will agree on the annual publishing schedule.
Accepted manuscripts will be published ahead of print. Post-publication discussion will take place through Letters to the Editor. The acceptance of the manuscript for its publication implies the automatic transfer of rights for the publication of the article to Hospital Juárez de México.

The editors, editorial board, editorial committee, peer reviewers and operational staff will have defined responsibilities in accordance with the Operations Manual.
The journal will implement continuous improvement processes on a regular basis, including training activities for the people involved in the editorial process.
The dissemination will be carried out through the electronic site of the journal, emails from members of Hospital Juárez de México, and subscribers to the Toc Alert service, and can be carried out through social networks.
Self-Archiving Policy
Authors may immediately deposit the published version of their articles, without any embargo period, in institutional or subject-specific repositories, personal or academic websites, and scholarly platforms such as ResearchGate. The distribution and reuse of these articles must comply with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
The journal promotes the widest possible visibility, accessibility, and preservation of scientific output by encouraging authors to deposit their work in open-access repositories and academic dissemination networks.
Metadata Policy
The journal recognizes the importance of metadata in enhancing the visibility, discoverability, interoperability, and long-term preservation of scholarly content. To facilitate indexing and dissemination, the metadata associated with all articles, including titles, authors, affiliations, abstracts, keywords, publication dates, identifiers, and bibliographic information, is made openly available.
This metadata may be freely accessed, harvested, reused, distributed, and reproduced by individuals, repositories, indexing services, libraries, and databases for academic, educational, and indexing purposes, provided that proper attribution to the journal and the original source is maintained.
The journal supports standardized metadata protocols and formats to ensure seamless interoperability with national and international indexing systems and scholarly communication platforms.

Where data sharing is restricted due to privacy or proprietary considerations, authors must provide a clear statement explaining these limitations.
